All the MAY17,2004 wls people

I will be having my surgery on May 17, 2004 and this hold thing feel like a dream to me. do anyone out there feel the same way .

I'm May 17th too! It is exactly midnight now so that makes it 10 days left for us! I wish the time would pass more quickly! I am so excited to get in there and get this thing done and get on with my life! I don't think any other kind of patient is as excited to be having surgery as us bariatrics people. The doc's office could call me right now to come in first thing in the morning to have surgery and I would start packing now and even stay up all night doping bowel prep. So when are your pre-op appointments? Mine is Monday.

Hi Monica I have already did all my pre-op testing on Tuesday, so all I have to do now is wait 10 more days. I wish the time would pass more quickly too.I will keep you in Prayer and just think about how well we will be doing next month this time.

Hello to all, my date is also set for the 17th and I can't think of anything else but that day! Infact I think that I am a walking zombie right now. What I have started doing to keep the time ticking by is shopping for the after surgery gear. I read in here that the best thing to get is a summer dress or a nice gown to wear home. Nothing expensive of course, just something to wear with bright colors to keep or moods up. I found this cute nite gown that looks good enough to wear home at JCPENNYS for only $16, and the have all the bright summer colors. Just buying it has made me feel a little at ease about my/our big day!

Reva, thanks for the idea. My surgery is May 17 and I haven't thought about what to wear home. I think I'm going to treat myself to something nice to wear home. Thanks again, good luck. !!!!!

harriet, i am having my surgery the 18th. i am pretty nervous too, but i will be glad when it is over. i am on several medications and i am looking forward to not having so many pills!!!
