Home today from Tuesday Surgery

Had surgery Tuesday and I am resting at home today. My surgeon is the sweetest man in the world. He brougt all his patients big, soft, fluffy teddy bears to put on our stomach and help us through the surgery. I think that I am still suffering the after effects of pain medications because I am still groggy. Also feeling a little nausea.

Hi Nita I know it feel good to be on the losing side. Take care of your self and always do what your DR. say and you will be alright. also don;t forget to thank GOD for seeing that you made it out of surgery to the losing side.PRAYING that you will have speedy recovery.

hi nita, my surgery was tuesday also but i am still sore. and i was getting bored with yogurt and applesause so i went to the store and got all kinds of juices, baby foods, puddings, jellos, and popsicles and bananas to mush up. i haven't needed anymore pain medicine though. i had to put to sleep with gas because they can not get i.v.s in me for some reason and so i have been kind of sick from that and when they suctioned out my stomach they cut my tonsil and the roof of my mouth up and i can still taste blood--yuck!
