2nd try is a charm!

I am scheduled for laproscopic RNY on May 14, 2004. I was origionally scheduled for April 27, 2004. I arrived at the hospital and was ready to go. They hooked me up to all the machines and then they noticed that my pulse was 110 (should be 70-80) and I had a low grade fever of 100.9. My surgeon opted not to take any risks and did not perform the procedure that day. I had to return back to my primarycare physician for what seemed like hpurs of testing. Everything came out fine and I am ready to go again!!!!!!!! This time I am even more prepared and will not be as nervous! Goodluck to all having surgery in the up coming weeks. We are about to begin the rest of our lives!!!!!! Best Wishes, Melissa
