finding an angel, anyone else having trouble?

I have looked around and emailed a number of people that I thought might be a good 'fit' but no one ever replies. I would love to have an angel or even just a WLS buddy. Anyone else having trouble hooking up with someone? In other news, I am having the surgery in SIX days now (May 11th) and its ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT!!! I am both nervous and excited! Hey Jen, (((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) I'd volunteer to be your , but since we're having our surgeries a day apart, I don't think I'd be much help! Have you also tried posting on your state message board? That may help. Yes, it is now on my mind every minute of the day. A little anxiety has set in, but it's not about the surgery, it's more about life afterwards. (Lack of anxiety about the procedure: I just get this feeling that God has decided He's not ready for me to come home yet! ) My mind is a rambling mess: what am I taking to the hospital? Can I get my apt. cleaned up in time? Did I make sure to write out any and all pertinent info for my mom? (She's flying in from PA to be with me next week.) Am I going to buy enough post-op groceries? Will I buy too much? On and on and on.... Somebody stop me!
