That's rotten to have Surgery that late. Maybe the Nurses will let you sleep afterward till morning . That would be nice. Otherwise after 3 to 4 hours they want you up and walking. It's going to be a long day. Take a book to the Hospital with you and read.

what time does the hospital require you to be there since your surgery is not till 4? i would think that would have alot to do with determining how you will spend your day.
