May 12th

Wow May 12th!! It is hard to believe May 12th and I will be having my Lap RNY done. I started my journey towards WLS with Dr. Hadar Spivak's seminar in Houston on March 31. I am calm about the surgery but of course the devil has started putting the "What if's ?" in my head. I just have to remember I have to lift it up to God and He will take care of me. Hi Dayna and all the other May 12th people, Sending all my Best Wishes to all of us and a Speedy recovery. Had my Pre-Op Phy. yesterday and started my ALL Liquid Diet yesterday and now know what a Waterbed feels like . We can do this, we have each other and we will all be walking the Hospital Halls together, just different Hospiatls. Just keep Smiling and knowing we are not alone in this. Jean

MY DATE IS MAY 12 MY SURGERY IS AT 12:00 NOON. I AM VERY EXCITED AND READY, I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A VERY LONG TIME SO I THINK I AM READY. EVERYONE WHO IS HAVING SURGERY I PRAY THAT GOD LOOK OVER YOU AND KEEP YOU WELL AND IN GOOD HEALTH. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Had all my preop test yesterday ( labs, EKG, Upper GI, Psyc, eval) and may I just say that Barium is NASSSSTTTTTYYYYY.....lol. Got my prescription for the GOLYTE for my prep. and am going to call Monday to see if I have to go on a liquid diet. I feel if I can survive the UGI then I can do anything. God bless you one and all.
