I've got a Date of May 10 w/Dr. Apkin

Like to chat with anyone who is getting operated on soom I'm starting to get a little bagigady.

Hi Virginia Just wanted to let you know we share surgery dates, my surgery is sch for 2p, which is great, that means I get to in (if I can)! I'm not an early bird at all. I'm with you in the fact I can't seem to grasp on to anything running thru my mind on what I need to do next. I know the 10th will be here before we know it. I'm trying to stay calm so my family won't worry so much, but by golly I am SO SO SO excited and it really does feel like I am riding a roller coaster (that funny stomach feeling you get) I don't want this to end. I am so ready for a new life and thankful for getting the chance. Nice always calms me down! Good luck with an uneventful surgery and recovery and your in my prayers! I too have a surgery date of May 10th. 8:30am. I was on an emotional roller coaster ride for so long and when I got the approval I actually cried. I was scared and I don't want to die. I would wake up in the middle of the night having panic attacks. Last Sunday I woke up with such inner peace. I don't know what happened. I am not the least bit nervous anymore. I don't know if it is divine intervention or what but I hope I stay this way. Good luck to you with your surgery. I hope it is uneventful. See you on the losing side.

My sugery is sceduled for the 10th also.I got the call on the 8th that my insurance company overturned the denial and approved the surgery.It doesn't seem like two weeks ago.Now it's only 15 more days,and I'm now starting to get nervous.Excited,too,since it took so long to get to this point.Hope your surgery & recovery are smooth,you'll be in my thoughts!
