They can change your date :'(

I didn't know they would just go and change your surgery date on you. This puts me in May too, but I still don't know when I don't know about any of you, but this is unnerving.

Teresa as one who just had her date moved up from 6/8 until 5/14 I can tell you it is a thrill. I have been waiting since mid-Dec 2003 to have the surgery. When I finally got to see the surgeon on March 1 I was very disappointed that I had to wait until June 8th for the surgery. Now it is coming upon me and I have mixed emotions. But mainly I am thrilled. They moved mine up because someone else had to move theirs either up or cancel to a later date. That is the main reason they change it for you. Don't fret. I was scheduled for 5/5 and I was changed to 5/19, I was upset at first but this way it gave me a little more time to get myself together and get better prepared mentally. I had a chance to slow myself down because I was in a panic state. I got the date 2 weeks before the surgery date and I felt like I was being rushed. It really was a Blessing for me. I am more in control of my thoughts and feelings at this moment. I am anxious to get the surgery over but it also gave me time, to take my time to be more prepared.
