may 6 BUT...

Hi all, My surgery is scheduled for May 6 but I may have a problem. I have been having some dental work done and that may be a show stopper. My Dentist and my surgeon are discussing this. They are worried about infection. Please pray for me that this will be resolved. I don't want to be silly and not be careful, but I would like to have the surgery before the third week in May. I will trust in God for this one. Thanks

Hi Sherri ! Congratulations on your May Date! I would think that if your on antibiotics, that would take care of any risk of infection. Do you have to have a root canal? Can they have it taken care of by your surgery date? I just can't imagine what dental work would prevent you from having the surgery on time? Hi - I am scheduled for my surgery on 5/5, and just last week had a growth removed and biopsied from my cheek by an oral surgeon. I checked with the dentist and doctor, and both agreed there should be no issues. However, if you have any doubts - its better to be safe. Good luck!
