HELLO EVERYONE, THEY CALLED TODAY, MY SURGERY IS MAY 5TH I AM SO HAPPY. PRAYING THAT ALL GOES WELL WITH PRE-OP TESTING NEXT WEEK. I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED. SO LONG FOR NOW TRUDY

THANK YOU FOR REPLYING . I READ YOUR PROFILE AND HON, I KNOW YOUR FAMILY MEANS WELL. PEOPLE LOOK ON THE DIM SIDE OF THINGS FOR SOME REASON, JUST KEEP TELLING THEM YOU WANT TO DO THIS FOR YOUR CHILDREN AND FOR YOURSELF. I TOLD MY KIDS, I WANT TO SEE MY G-CHILDREN GROW UP, AND AT THIS RATE I WON'T IF I DON'T DO SOMETHING. I AM 58 AND DIABETIC, AND THE PILLS I'M ON MADE ME GAIN EVEN MORE WEIGHT. THE KIDS HAVE BEEN VERY SUPORTIVE. WE WILL SOON JOIN THE LOOSERS, ISN'T THAT . DIANNA, PRAYING FOR YOU, WE ARE IN GOD'S HANDS (AND THATS THE BEST) CAN'T GET NO BETTER THAN THAT , I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU THAT YOU HAVE A SURGERY DATE. GOD BLESS, TRUDY

Hi Trudy, My date is just before yours on May 4th. I have a gall bladder ultra sound this Thursday and Pre Op testing next Wednesday. I can't believe the day is almost here. Two more weeks. Best of luck on your surgery and we will have to keep in touch and compare notes. I'll keep you as well as everyone having WLS in my prayers. Karen

Congrats Trudy.... I too am scheduled for may 5th. We are only 2 weeks away The last couple of days have flown by, our day is only a blink of the eye away. Good luck to you... see you on the other side. Chris

Hey Trudy! I'm doin' that happy dance with you! CONGRATULATIONS! I know your really happy! That's the way I felt when I got my date! May 28th. It can't get here soon enough for me. I have to say though, once I made up my mind to have the surgery and checked into it, all in all, its only taken a couple of months for tests and insurance approval. The insurance was actually held up because I changed the type of plan I had or I could have been approved earlier. Oh, well, everything happens for a reason! Anyway, I just wanted to wish you well!
