I've got a surgery date...finally!!

Oh I am hoping that this next month flys by. I think I am going to be exhausted going through all of the emotions that I feel about this surgery. I am nervous, scared, excited, etc. How does everyone get through this?

Hi, I am four weeks from surgery and feeling exactly the same way. I hope the month goes by fast. I have been going out with my family and having all my last meals (my family is laughing at that ) but thats what I am calling it. What about you?

I went to the store yesterday and bought a box of ?Haagen Dasz? ice cream bars. My husband said, "You're going for wls and you're eating ice cream bars?". I am not sure if I am getting those last minute fat foods in before surgery, or if I am comforting myself with them. I am telling you, this last month is going to be a doozy. LOL!!!

I too finally got my surgery Date as of yesterday I think I danced around my living room with each of my kids - my husband although nervous is so excited for me - says he never thought I would go through with this --- and sorta hoping deep down ----- because of the risks.. I so can't wait May 28 is just around the corner Good Luck ladies -----

My husband and friends also are the same way. They all support me, but they know deep down, this could potentially be the end. Small chance, but still a chance. Best of luck for the days ahead.
