firt time here..GOT A DATE 5-5

Well this is my first time posting. I am so excited and want to tell the world that I have a date... May 5, 2004 is going to be my new birth day. I AM SO EXCITED !! Of course I am a little scared too. I have friends that have done it and their lives are changed for the better, that gives me hope and strength that everything will go great for me too. Any suggestions anyone can offer will be appreciated.

Congratulations! Chris! Your feeling exactly the way I felt. I was so releaved to get a date, then all the sudden I got nervous. My advice: Don't listen to or read any of the negative posts or talk. Some people can be real downers and we need to concentrate on thinking and being positive right now. Mine is May 28th and it can't come soon enough. This is my first time reading through these posts. Congratulations on your upcoming date. Mine is on 5/3/04. I am sooooo excited and nervous at the same time. I was real nervous until I went for my hospital tour (St. Joseph's, Orange, CA.) and the extensive support they give to their WLS patients. Now I just want my new life to begin.
