I all,
I wanted to let you know that I emailed all the TV stations about what was going on with Blue Cross PPO not approving people (myself included)...Channel 5 news contacted me. They want to interview me for a story that they are doing on this issue, and I agreed. They are coming with their camera crews tomorrow afternoon 4/16/04.
I wanted to put together a list of names of people who are having trouble getting approved, what insurance plan you have, if it is self insured or through a company, and your phone numbers, if you wish to supply it.
Also, if you know anyone else, include them in if they want.
I need this information soon...I am speaking with them tomorrow afternoon.

I read your post to Abby. I'm so sorry to hear about your Husbands reactions to your Surgery. And you have no one in your family who supports you in your need for WLS. Well, I'm here to tell you that you have hundreds of people supporting you on this web site. And I'm one of them. I guess I'm lucky that no one in my life has said "Don't Do It" but I can still see the worry in their faces. I know they love me. And I'm sure your husband loves you too. He is just scared if the worse happens. Write him a Love Letter and give it to him. Let him know it's because you love him and your kids that you need this WLS. You will be surprised at how much you can put in a letter and both of you will be able to talk to each other after he reads it. You need to get across your need for the Surgery and he needs to talk about it with you, a letter can start this commutations. Good Luck and Best Wishes.
