My surgery is may 10th please help

I am having my surgery on the 10th of may and I am so nerves is there any one else going on the roller coaster ride with there feelings I am scared,nerves,ready,happy,all at the same time is this all normal should I worry this bad

Hi Francis, Welcome to the World of being NORMAL . Every person on this list is having their Surgery in May. Mine is May 12th. And we are all feeling the same way your are. After a years wait for this to happen I'm very excited, ready, scared, nervous and praying. I've had major Surgery before and know what it will be like before and after. Wont be a picnic the first few weeks but after that we will all be AWESOME in our weight loss. This list wont end after May. We will be here sharing our weight loss and how awesome we are looking. Our up's and downs. We are the "MAY 2004 WLS Support Board" and will be doing what we all need before and after this surgery and that's SUPPORT each other. Jean

May 10 is my surgery date also and I am feeling the exact same things. I think we are perfectly normal in every way and we are going to do just great after surgery! Best of luck to you - I'll be watching your progress.

Dear Francis, I am also having rny lap surgery on May 10th, 2004. I am very excited most of the time, the rest of the time I can't believe it will actually happen. I am glad for the opertunity to meet other people going through the same anxieties that I am. Please keep in touch as we go throught this together. Hi Francis! My name is Christina and my surgery is May 3rd. I'm wicked nervous too, but Im so happy Everyone gets scared sometimes, and it's definitely normal to be nervous! Just know that everyone here is in the same boat and we're all here for each other The surgery is a huge life change, and nervousness is just your body's way of saying "wow, this is a big deal!"
