MAY 12th Date:

I was originally scheduled for April 6th, but BCBSIL kept going back and forth with me saying that they didn't have all the information that they needed, etc. Now they have everything they need. My info is in review and I should have an answer by April 28th at the latest. I had to reschedule for May 12th. I guess that is still good, I only have about a month to wait again. My problem is that I have been so aggravated trying to get things to BCBSIL and getting any answers from them. They just tell you to call back. I was so annoyed. I even sent a letter to the president of Blue Cross, yet with no response. If anybody has any ideas to help me get an approval, please advise! Thank you. Tricia

Hi Tricia, We will be sharing the same surgery day of May 12. So far on this May list there are 6 of us on that day. I also had problems with my Insurance Co. United Health Care. Ended up having to go through the State Att. Generals Office. Send a Registered letter to them on Wed., and copies faxed to United Health Care on the same day and Att. Generals Office got theirs on Friday and United Health Care Oked my surgery on Monday, LOL. This after 9 mons. of going crazy over there different stories, losing me in there computers, wanting more docu., 2nd. opinions and so on. Just one big pain in the butt. But they did Ok it and now it's getting close Excitement, Fears, and Prayers are the rule of the day now. But this is normal and I'm really looking forward to being a loser, . Jean
