May 10,2004---My Other Birthday

I get to do the deed on May 10. I can't say that I'm nervous, since I had my chest cracked 19 months ago and how can this be worse, but I am starting to get keyed up. Getting my game face on.

Hi Mike- Nice to meet you (so to speak). My surgery is also scheduled for May 10. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis and will be having surgery about 4 miles from my house by one of the best surgeon practices in the state (Baker/Johnson). I am scared to death but also scared to death not to have this. I am not the type to ever post on message boards but I am the type the devours them when a subject interests me(travel etc.) Anyway- maybe we can follow and support each other on this scary journey. I just happened to stumble on this WLS reunion section which is pretty neat actually to team up with others having surgery about the same time.

Hi Mike - May 10th is my date also. Gonna be a great day!!
