I'm new

My surgery date is may 5th and i am already going through the butterfly thing i am so nervous i don't know what to do to keep my mind occupied this message board is the only thing that keeps me sane and keeps me thinking positive

Hey Cindy, I know what you mean. I haven't hit queasy but every now and then the nerve**** I'm glad mine is first thing in the morning. I won't have to be nervous half of the day. I guess that doesn't make you feel any better though. This surgery is going to be such a positive thing in the long run. I know from all the other post I have read that the first few weeks will be rough but everyone seems to say the same thing, it's all worth it. Just think how good we will feel this time next year. I need to go to a reunion with my husband in October. I just keep thinking how nice it will be to be able to buy something nice to wear and what size I will be wearing. Mostly I can't wait to be free of this horrible back ache I get when I am on my feet for more than 3 minutes. I also can't wait to be able to walk from the bed to bathroom without getting out of breath. There is so many positives and that's what we need to concentrate on. Please e-mail anytime.
