Life Begins anew in May

Greetings, I was so amazed when I received a call from my surgeon's office stating that I was approved by my insurance for the lapband surgery! I was so prepared for a "fight" that I was not ready to continue with picking the date for my new life to begin. I was totaly amazed at my reaction, and the fact that my heart was racing with the news. It took me several minutes to focus on what was being said. Yes, I had actually been approved and I could now choose my date. I think I am still in a state of shock and it has been over 2 weeks now. I am grateful that I have a wonder companion to share my life with and a family that is supportive of this life changing decision. I feel as if I have a whole new life opening up to me.
