Tuesday May 4th!!

Yay!! I just found out that I am scheduled for 5/4. The hospital called me to do the pre-admission stuff and I'm really excited. I *know* this is actually happening now, instead of just *thinking* it is. The neat thing about this is that I was actually born on a Tuesday...now I get to start my new life on a Tuesday. There's somethign strangely fitting about that. (I just thought the horse was cute) Abby

Hello Abby, It looks like we are going to be celebrating an anniversery together.Yes my surgery date is also 5/4/04.I just had my pre-op w/ radiology(chest xray,gallbladder sonogram) and my pulmonary(pulmonary function test,arterial gases).There are 3 other set of test which consist of labs,cardiac(ekg) and gastrointestinal(upper endoscopy) oh I can't forget the 3 nutrition counseling(1 mandatory b-4 surgery) All of these will be done next week.So I will have the month of April just to prepare myself and family for the surgery And the best thing about this will be that GOD will be right there w/me and the fam. through this whole process and after....... smile
