Hello! I'm new to this board...and I have a Date! May 11th 2004

I'm so excited to start my pretesting...I was told I should be recieving my packet in the mail today to get started...is there anyone else that has a surgery date as mine?? Good luck on everyones journeys! Shauna

Hello Shauna, My name is Tracey and I too will have surgery on May 11th. I live in Indiana. I have had my psych eval and I received an itenirary of the rest of my pre-op testing. I am very excited also. Good luck and Congrats on your date.

Hi Tracey! I'm glad someone else has the same surgery day..at least I know i'm not going to be alone..even though in a different state...I have my psych eval on the 9th of March. I'm so glad that I only have to pay out 150.00 for the appt..since my ins only covers 50% of it..which is fine I've heard others paying out more for the testing and surgery..so i'm not complaining at all. I wish you and myself luck ..I believe May 11 is going to be the BEST DAY OF THE YEAR!!! Shauna

Hi everyone. My name is Pam and my date is also May 11. I have known about my surgery since Dec so I have been trying to keep myself from getting to excited about it. I guess since I have only 10 weeks left I can start looking forward to it now I have had all my preop testing done except my bloodwork which I will have at the end of April. My insurance covers it all even the surgery. I wish both you good luck!!! Pam

Hello Pam....Congratulations!! I still have my pretesting to do..infact getting appts made today..I have my pcyhs evalu. on march 9th...sounds like fun...I just recieved my time of surgery..I have to check in at 530am and I cant have any wake me coffee..wow! atleast I dont have to wait till afternoon to start...talk about not wanting to sleep that nite...anyways..I wish us all luck...May 11th is going to be a GREAT DAY!!
