Hi Pam, I am from Indiana and I just wanted to tell you good luck. My surgery is scheduled for May 11 also. This is a wonderful thing!! When I received my date back in August, It seemed soooo.... far away and here it is almost March. I have had my psych eval and will have my pre-op class on March 16. My other tests will be on April 20th. It's funny, but I am not nervous in the least bit. I am sure that will change the night before the surgery. Well, as I said, I just wanted to say good luck and I will be praying for you. : cool

Hi Tracey, I can hardly believe you have known since August. I know I would have been crazy by now. I am not nervous about the surgery either. I guess I know this is what I want and I am so determine to get it. But am sure I will be the night before too. Good luck and I will be praying for you.

Good luck with your surgery, Karen! I, too, am self-pay. I am from Broken Arrow and am traveling to Little Rock, Arkansas to have surgery. The total cost there is $15,000. Scherlie- We are gonna be WLS twins! LOL My date is May 17th too!! YIPEE!! AND- Im self pay too! Here in Texas, its gonna cost me about $20,000. Not TOO bad- but geez, Im only 19. Its not like I got that in my backpocket. Oh well, thats what loans and credit cards are for right? I will just pay it off the rest of my life. But it will be a skinny life! LOL! 68 days and counting!
