anyone out here ?
Hi..
Does anyone still roam around on this forum? I usually post on another and thought I would check this one out as not been here in a longggggg time.
Just curious how everyone is doing ??
How's your life 6 years from WLS ??

I still come around sometimes. It seems know one comes here anymore. I have had three babies since 2007. My youngest is two months now. I am unhappy that I weigh 167 right now. I have never gotten under 148. I am trying to stop eating so much since I had him but failing. Hoping that I will kick start everything going again soon because I have to do a liquid diet for a few days due to having some spots removed. How are you doing?
Hi,
I haven't been around OH in forever! I just thought I'd stop by today and see who was still coming round and how others were doing.
I did great for 4 years. Started gaining after I had a hysterectomy just under 2 years ago. I'm up to 185-190 I think. I haven't weighed in a few weeks. Amazing how quickly it's come back on. I stayed around 150 for over 4 years. I've gone from size 6/8 to a size 16. It's just unreal to think about. I'm still much healthier than when I had surgery. I still ride bikes a few times a week. I still jump on the trampoline with my 9 year old. I just don't like the way I look. I miss wearing heels and cute clothes.
I've thought about a revision, but I really don't know that it'd help. I don't know if I'd qualify either.
We shall see I suppose. Hope to be back here more often now.

I check in every now and then, but not often. I have gained almost 50 pounds over the past 2 years and feel awful about it, but can't seem to put a lid on my eating. I don't exercise either! I am going to make a serious effort after the holidays though! I still feel WAY better than before I had the surgery, but am terribly disappointed in myself for letting things get this far.
I am here although I have not loggen on in a very long time. I think I am going to have to start paying more attention to my diet. My husband died a little over a year ago and things have not been good. I had to take take care of him for several years and had slowly started to put the wieght back on. I just did not have time to take care of me. Well, I have to start taking care of me now!! I have gained almost all of the weight that I had lost and I am very discouraged. I just got out of the hospital with a blood clot in my leg, so now I have to get busy and up my exercise. I need help and support, so I decided to get back on here and talk to people that know more than I do about it. Thank you for letting me vent.
You are just across the bridge from me. lol I'm in Louisville. I went up to 165 so far after Christian. I stay at home with three little boys so I know where you are coming from. With them being at home all day long, it is hard to find time to exercise. I'm having trouble dropping starches. I can't eat sugar. I dump from that. My weight gain is from not doing anything but sitting on my butt. I gotta figure out something.
I also did great for a few years. I had a wonderful twin pregnancy only gaining about 25 lbs. I actually started putting on weight after I had the babies. I think I ate out of stress and being tired all the time. My kids are four now and I'm up to 200 lbs. My lowest weight was 145. I'm kicking myself for putting the weight back on. My energy is not optimal, my hubby works 2nd shift so I'm home with the kids all night by myself. I find myself having some beer and salty snacks after putting the kids to bed. Both my hubby and I have had the roux en y and put weight back on. It's hard to stick to the protein only diet because even though I like meat, chicken, fish more than carbs my hubby requires starches, gravies, "slider foods" at meals or he will get sick. I also find myself just addicted to sugar lately. Got to get a handle on that... hope more from May 2004 check in!
