need some help, gaining back weight...
Hey Leigh Ann, I went through the same thing this past Feb. I gained back about 20 pounds and I felt the same way you do. I had to stop and think what the heck am I doing to myself. We had gone through to much to just give up and gain it all back. My doctor told me that I would have to take prescription diet pills off and on from now on whenever I let myself get out of control. I took Adipex for a few months to remotivate myself and I've been walking 3 miles a night at least 4 nights a week. There are times I want to just sit in my chair and not go but I make myself. We have been blessed to be one of the lucky few fortunate enough to have this surgery. I hope I have helped you in some way. Just get a check on it now and start excerising and eating right and it will all work out for you. Good Luck and God Bless, Debra, 346/173/155
Two words that I think will help: Protein and walking. I weigh myself every day and if I creep up two pounds I go back to Protein first then veg and fruit. Nada sugar or processed crap and walk walk walk. I have been stable for a year within a 2-3 pound range and I look great (hardly any loose skin). I know genetics and height is part of the reason (6' tall and 150 lbs). This is a tough thing, but it works for me if I closely monitor things. I don't believe in weekly weigh-ins, I do it every single day and go from there. This is the first time in my life I've been able to keep my weight stable and that's how I do it. I do need to be more consistent with weight training, but nobody's perfect.
Same here Chris. I haven't been drinking my protein lately, but I know that it does work help keep control of the weight. I really have only gained back about 10 lbs in almost 3 years--but I needed to gain some back because I was too small. I have gained most of my weight back in my waist........no where else can you believe that???? I know that if I would just walk some and drink my protein drinks, the weight would start coming off again. I am pretty proud of myself that I have kept the weight off for this long.
Good luck to everyone

I haven't been on here in months and I too feel your frustration. I have gained about 15 pounds and can't even fit into my size 14s anymore.. I refuse to start buying bigger clothing but this is so frustrating because it's hard to get motivated to start making better choices about what I eat!
I am glad to see I am not alone.. . hopefully we all can help motivate each other to lose the weight again!!!
