My surgery was on 05-27-03 and I have lost 50lbs. even. I am a slow loser, but I am losing! I was tight in a 24 now I am perfect in a 18!!! Good Luck to everyone!

Hi..new to this part of obesityhelp..Anyway, My surgery date was 5/1/03 and I am down 60lbs...start size tight 26 now perfect 20..I think this is alittle slow and I have hit a plateau but I am waiting patiently...Anyone else hit a plateau lately?

My WLS was on 5-9-03 and I am down 61#s. I have upped my protein and it is really helping now. Trying to get out of the 200s but they are NOT letting go! Oh do I wish to be just 199!! hehe! Why is that SO important!?!

Hi Sherri, My surgery was also May 28th and this morning when I weighed I have lost 65-lbs! YEA!!! Everything is going great. Haven't had any problems with foods. I just have to remember to eat slow and chew, chew, chew!!! Congrats to the rest of you on your weight loss. Just wish I had known about this years ago! Veige

Just went to your web page and looked at the pictures. You must be so proud, you're doing great! Keep up the good work. Which doctor did your surgery? I went to Dr. Cook in Hickory and had mine done Lap RNY. I had checked with a doctor in my home town (Winston-Salem, NC) but they only do the open surgery. But it's the best decision I've ever done!!! Take care! Veige
