abdominoplasty

Help please!! I am scheduled to have TT May 10th and would like to know if anyone has had Dr. Jawad do the surgery. Did you have drains? What was it like?? [email protected]

Hi Jane, Although I didn't request a TT, I did have Tram Flap reconstruction for Breast Cancer, 9 months after my WLS whi*****luded the TT to obtain tissue. My Tram surgery was March 8, 2004 in MD. I did have drains (5 total, 2 for breast, 3 for belly) which just needed to be monitored, emptied and removed in about 6 - 10 days. No other problems. I spent time in the hospital only because of the reconstruction. Recovery was slow but not really painful. I returned to work 1/2 days in 2 weeks and full time in 6 weeks. I have lost 155 pounds since WLS in D.C. on May 14, 2003. Isn't life grand now ? Good luck to you.
