Almost 6 months post-op

I went to my surgeon the other day at 5 1\2 months out I have lost 88lbs and all my labs are great. And still losing I am very thankful for my uneventful surgery and recovery and blessed with my progress to date. I had the duodenal switch surgery May 21st and it was the best decision I have ever made.Hope all our journey's continue to complete success.

We're all going to make it! And do you remember how nervous we were SIX months ago? Yup! I would have hopped off that gurney and escaped down the hall just prior to surgery - had I not been afraid my big bottom would be showing as my gown flapped in the breeze! Whew!~ I'm glad I stayed put!
