4 Months Post op

WOW who would have ever thought I would be under 200 and now even under 190. I Had my surgery May 6/2003 my weigh in was 248 and my highest weight before surgery was 282. I am now at 189 and so happy. Just looking for others who had there surgery around the same time to see how things are going for them. Wilda 5/6/03-248 9/15/03-189

My surgery was May 21st and I'm down to 198 from 252. Isn't breaking through the 200's da bomb?! Chris

Wilda - I'm so glad that your weight loss has been a success. I had my surgery on 5/16/03 and weighed in @ 324. At the doctor's office yesterday, I'm @ 239, a total loss of 85 lbs.! I have no regrets, but has been one of the biggest challenges of my life. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Mary

My date was may, 15,2003 . My pre weight was 270 pounds and now I am at 214. I feel a little bummed because I have not reached my 200 mini goal. Any suggestions on losing the weight a little faster. Email me. Thanks

I'm down to 179 lbs from 226 lbs lost mega inches wore a size 20 now a 14 jri. in jeans an a jr. plus in tops thats mind blowing to me also dropped two shoe sizes. Have 29lbs to go to my goal weight an 40lb for my docs goal weight .

I had my surgery 05/15/03 and I weighed in at 406 the day of surgery and I am now donw to 301 lbs... that is 105 pounds loss for ever.. Keep up the good work everyone.....!

Congrats to all of my May/2003 compadres; My surgery was on 5/12/2003. I weighed in at 482 lbs. I am now 369 lbs. do the math -- 113 lbs. gone forever!!!! I feel great. I am able to sleep in bed all night long and I can walk for 2-3 miles at a time. Many thanks to my surgeon - Dr. English and my family and friends.

Sounds like everyone is doin so well! My surgery was 5-9-03 and I am down 65#, started at 264 and am 198 right now. I guess now that I am over the 200# hump I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Literally! I am excited to journey throught the rest of my loss and start living again!
