Hi ya'all! Donna Here. Well tomorrow is the big day. I'm excited and yet maybe just starting to feel alittle anxious. I've been on clear liquids for yesterday and today. It's going pretty well. Even yesterday when we went to my girlfriends for a bar-b-que. I had broth instead. Determination is the factor here. I want a quick recovery, no comlications and if following a clear diet before reeduces that risk well then so be it. I am doing whatever I need to do to make it easier on myself and those around me. My wish for all those out there that is having surgery tomorrow as well, May God bless you and keep you all safe in his loving arms till we ALL cross over to the losing side! May many Angels encamp around all of you, to protect and guide you. And may you all have an uneventful surgery, and a fast recovery! God Bless Donna Reed

Donna, I had my surgery the same day! Lap RNY, it went extremely well. I'm having some trouble with the protein drink, but have to manage until Tuesday when we get more money, before I can buy any more drinks. Sigh..I am not having any trouble getting liquids down, just the protein. How are you doing?

HI Donna, I had surgery the same day as you Lap Rny in San Francisco. I am back to work now. I have lost a total of 29lbs. I really want to get that 1lbs off to say yes 30lbs. I am still realy tired and go to bed early. But from what I understand this is compltely normal. I am drinking my protrine drink once a day but maybe I should be doing it 2 twice a day. I thought I was really prepared for the surgeyr until I had it now I feel like I am doing things wrong. Maybe this will pass to. Hope all is well with you. Debbie Dean
