I'm having surgery 4-10-13 as well. I'm having surgery with Dr. Oliak in Brea, California. Great job losing the 70 lbs so far!!

OMG I can't believe I'm a few days from revision to RNY. Although I've never posted here, I have been reading through many posts for several months. Once I found out that my insurance did cover revision I started the process to remove the lap band and have RNY. I have had nothing but problems with lap band and can't wait to have it out. I am so nervous I can't think straight. I am scared that this won't work either. I am just so nervous for all of it. I have been reading lots of posts and it's good to see that post op people are doing so well and most everyone is super happy with the choice to have the surgery and have been so successful. I am looking forward to a thinner, healthier me.

I'm about 1 week away! Still waiting for something to go wrong, and or them to cancel it. Does anyone want to be support buddies? I'd love to have friends with dates near mine. Especially RNY surgeries!

I just had my surgery on the 2nd... The liver reduction diet, you will get use to.. I promise.. first day was the hardest, but then I started to figure out new ways to make my drink taste good!!
Dont doubt yourself and if you need to have food at anytime, fine the high in protein and green veggies. Just make sure you make the right decision and as it has been posted before, people cheat on their pre-op diets...

Everyone stumbles and falls occasionally and as much as you feel the weight of the world some days, tomorrow is always a new day.
Can you please share your liver prep diet? My doctor said I don't really need to because I'm considered a "lightweight"...I find that funny, but even still I'm going to do it just so that I can get started on my weight loss and to make sure it's easier for him to see around my liver during surgery.

Hi - my surgery is only 2 days after yours! I'll be sleeved on 4/25/13...can't wait!
