I am starting my new life on April 16th. I cant wait. Im going on vacation to Florida and will return a week before my surgery. God has blessed me with a great life.

I don't know enough about all the verbiage so I don't have any acronyms...

But I can tell you I have my pre-op appt to start my diet on 4/2/12 and surgery planned for 4/18/12 with Dr. Smith at Fort Worth Lap-band.

The plan is to do the iBand (Gastric Plication). I'm very comfortable with the procedure suggestion and not at all nervous about surgery, as long as I'm knocked out.

Anyone know anything I should know?

I am having my surgery on April 29th. I sooooo do not want to wait that long...but like others have been saying...i have been overweight for 30 years whats another 6 weeks.
