Only you can know that. I can only tell you that I'm 6 years out and it worked for me. It's not always easy, in fact that first year is killer hard, but nobody ever knows when they take a risk, and this is a risk, what the outcome will be. I've maintained my weight for 5 years and I'm at 135 now, my blood work is good and I'm a lot happier with myself, than I ever was before surgery. I hope you have support and if not, you find some. It makes it a lot easier!

I had my Roux n y done on the 17th as well. I had second thoughts, and, I was scared right to death wondering if I made the right decision. You Probibly had the prcedure and are like me trying to get in the fluids.
