We have a date!!

I am scheduled for RNY on April 10 at HRRH in Toronto with Dr. Klein.  Good luck everyone!

After 3 years I finally have a date!!!!

start my pre diet saturday 3/24
you would think I would be estatic....but to be totally honest I AM SCARED TO DEATH NOW

I don't know enough about all the verbiage so I don't have any acronyms...

But I can tell you I have my pre-op appt to start my diet on 4/2/12 and surgery planned for 4/18/12 with Dr. Smith at Fort Worth Lap-band. 

The plan is to do the iBand (Gastric Plication).  I'm very comfortable with the procedure suggestion and not at all nervous about surgery, as long as I'm knocked out.

Anyone know anything I should know?

 I am having Duodenal Switch on April 6th in Saranac Lake, also with Dr. Hill.  I am also very nervous.  My original date was April 4th but they needed to bump me. You will probably be discharged the day of my surgery.  Good luck!

 I am scheduled for April 30th.  Started my 2 week liquid diet today! Surgery will be at Wood county hospital with Dr. Lalor 

 Congrats on getting ur date!!! I am 12 days post RNY and seriously....don't be afraid at all! The first few days are rough but let the nurses take care of you!! I feel amazing! I'm still on 2 weeks of "liquids" soups, yogurts, etc and then this Wednesday I can move to purée! I can't wait to have a scramble egg!! I wish you the best! 

After a not so pleasant experience with Hershey...I am now scheduled for RNY at Reading w Dr Ceppa on April 23.  Have been on liquids since Tuesday...and I think I am losing my mind.  Seriously, am SO forgetful lately.
