I'm so excited for you. My surgery is on the 10th. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I know what you mean about being nervous, but not having it hit you yet. I feel the same. Mine is Saturday and the people I know are nervous/excited for me, but I'm still acting like I'm indifferent. As if it's going to happen in months from now, lol

My turn tomorrow.
I've been following a few close "sisters" and I'm getting all emotional knowing they just had, or gonna have, surgery today, etc.
I'm also a bit scared for my surgery tomorrow so I was hoping a few good thoughts could come my way, too.

O No! I have two boxes of the OptiFast soup, one tomato and one chicken.... I only got the chocolate shakes... I don't like strawberry flavored things... my doctor told me I could enhance the flavor of the soups with herbs and spices... so hopefully I'll like it better!

Hey there! I will be getting banded on 4/12 and it's finally starting to sink in that it will really happen! Best of luck to you with your pre-op diet. I go in for my pre-op labs and a full day with the surgeon/NUT/other classes tomorrow.

Tomorrow is my big day too. I went to work today to stay busy...I needed to, but mainly to keep busy cuz of the clear liquid today...I will say a little prayer for you; for me and for all those starting a new journey tomorrow. (BTW the citrate of Mag is making me kinda sick to my stomach; but oh well) A few more glasses of water and bedtime. I am first on the surgeons list for tomorrow.
