Sounds like you are doing great. I can't wait until it is my turn! My doc said I could do light exercises like walkng until I am cleared.

Super excited. It only took one week to get the approval, Dr. Srikanth is the best, he has guided me thru the process and held me accountable so that I can go thru this process and be successful.

No, not what are the rules... I mean it rules!!! I already lost about 20 lbs and it has already made a difference in walking up the stairs to my apartment. I had to stop and puff for up to five minutes each time before and now it still makes me breathe hard but not nearly as hard. It's no longer something I will try to avoid as much as possible. Woot!

Mine is tomorrow and I'm more nervous than excited. But I'm sure it'll be fine. Yay it's so soon! I'm glad to know some people that will be in the same place as me. :)

I have been waiting in what seems like forever. When I first got a surgery date I had to countdown from 59 and now the countdown is 5 days.

Well, my mom has just eaten at the cafeteria at Hotel Colonial and the hospital food. She comes back and tells me something funny that is different than what we are used to. Like refried beans with a cheese omelet. She doesn't travel a lot so its funny.
I would love for you to tell us any sites to see. Luz told us about the cathedral and the govt building, but don't really want to take a cab ride just to see that, but we'll see how stir crazy I get in the next 7 days!!
