Topic: Meeting w surgeon and Bari-Boot Camp
Hey everyone!
I just got back from my last pre-op visit and I feel great. Things went very smoothly and I am all ready for Monday. My surgeon was very happy with my weight loss so far (32 lbs) and I managed not to fall asleep during the class. The Boot Camp portion was a repeat of the nutrition semimar I attending a few weeks ago, plus a step-by-step of what to expect on surgery day. It's all for real now and all that excitement that I wasn't feeling yet hit when I walked through the door a minute ago. YAY YAY YAY!

Piri Piri is a seasoning or sauce from Portugal that spices up chicken... chilli and garlic... as we speak Im sitting down to a cup of 'soup' enhanced by garlic and corriander, a bit better lol, or maybe im just trying to convince myself... but at least im a day nearer the 17th.... yay!

Topic: RE: Liquid Diet rules!
For some reason, my knees were KILLING ME for the last 3-4 weeks up until surgery. They haven't hurt since I've been here. Better get used to the not eating. I did my five day liquid diet and now, I don't eat anything by mouth. I can swish water around my mouth and have to spit it out. I have a leak test today, which I'm really not looking forward to, but will be happy that then I get to drink water and such.
