I was having my period when I had a historectomy. About the only time you should not be on your period is when you are having your period.

Sleep is good for you. It helps you heal. Make sure you get up every hour and walk even if is just your house. This will help get rid of gas. I am going to walk from my back door and going around the house to the front door. Then I will try to go all around the house. If you have a reclining chair sleep in it. I am so tempted to rent a recling chair that lifts you up from the medical supply company.

I have surgery on Monday! Hurray!!!

Your NOT the only one for sure!  I went through the questions section and other forums...lots of people with the same problem.  AS far as the gasx...The reason I have gone through this box so quick is bcause I finally read the directions.   I kept taking one here and there and it wasn't working.  On the box it says you can take up to 4 strips at one time and no more than 8 in a 24 hour period!  I started doing 3 first thing in the morn and 2 mid day and 3 before bed.  I'm all good now!!!!

Nooo..don't worry...we did the worring for you..lol  Just do what we did..gas x and stool softeners and you will go.  The surgery,,,being put to sleep..and the gas...and the pain meds are making it really hard and from what I can see...it's happening alot!  Good luck! lol
