Topic: saw my surgeon today
i had my last pre-op visit with my surgeon today he said all my pre-op testing went well and the he will see me on my surgery date OMG! I cant believe this is really happening. now all i need is to order my vitamins for after surgery and i will be set. i start my liquid diet on Thursday this week so that should be interesting. i am just pumped right now

Surgery tomorrow as well for me. I was freaking out but fortunately I had a consult with my surgeon today and he really put me at ease. Good luck and good vibes to everyone having surgery tomorrow.

Oh crap, talk about waiting until the last minute. I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray that it all comes out just fine. Maybe they'll even ru**** now that they know all the facts.

That's awful. Another April couldn't get her credit card to work over the weekend, hers got delayed two days. I hope yours happens still. Does he have a busy schedule?

Same as you, about 3 times a day and I'm 8 days out. I got one stuck on Friday and heaved until it was dislodged. I was so scarred by it, I didn't take another one until Sunday morning. So far so good. I get my stitches out today and will ask if I have more, I only have about 5 left so don't know if that's my cutoff or what. I would think not since I have a huge 10 in incision. It was open.

Topic: RE: Made it, but am sad to say I would not recomment anyone to use the same hospital I did.
Yes, I have been using that breathing machine 10 x every hour I'm awake! I took mine home also because when they told me you should be able to easily reach 25000, I though, not even on a good day. Congrats on the weightloss, it is exciting.
The surgeon said that I can do body band exercises which I'm waiting until the drain comes out, tomorrow! I think that will get rid of the majority of my pain. But I have lost the surgery weight plus 6. I am so excited for summer! I want to do a road trip to San Diego!
