I know exactly how you feel when you said you cant picture yourself thinner! I am with ya! I have been heavy for so long that I cant imagine what type of figure I will have when I am thinner, its a scary thing!

Yup, I'm a Band. My BP finally came up and I went straight to bed once I got home. Now it's walk, sip, walk, sip. LOL

I agree that it doesn't hurt as badly as I feared, but I am not willing to find out if it will get worse so I have been crushing up my Lortabs on schedule! I'm glad you are doing well. I think the walking helps more than the Gax-X for me, but I am keeping them handy just in case.

Wow thats early !! I wont find out until the day before what time I have to be there, but my surgeon did tell me that they do the diabetics first so I dont think it will be early. Good luck and keep us updated

No cream soups? I'm on liquids too, but I had strained tomato soup, chicken noodle, etc. Crystal light, 10 cal Vitamin Water, SF popcicles, sugar free mints and gum are also ok according to my surgeon's office. Best of luck!

I am on clear liquids today too....surgery tomorrow and I"m so ready. I'm sure when the pain hits after surgery I won't be so excited but right now I just want to move forward.
I'm unable to picture myself actually losing weight for some reason. Not that I doubt that I will lose, or that I question my ability to do the necessary diet and exercise- I just can't "picture" myself thinner. Anyone else out there feel like that?

Topic: RE: Made it, but am sad to say I would not recomment anyone to use the same hospital I did.
I was heavier after surgery, too. The bed actually weighs you! They say it's from the gas buildup from the surgery. Sorry about your sucky care!!! At least your sister was there to help!
