I'm at the end of day 3 of pre-op diet. Day 1 - sucked horribly. So hungry and I too was in the bathroom because i was downing water constantly trying to get full.
Day 2 - headache - wanted to die.
Day 3 - awesome....very little hunger and no headache.
Hang in there, it's probably going to get better for you tomorrow!!! I've also been saving up and creating projects for myself for the weekend. I think that's going to be a tough time, so I've got a zillion things on the to-do list to prepare myself for that.

Good luck tomorrow. I go in on Friday. Like you i am also thinking what did i sign myself up for. But hey when we are loseing weight and looking better then ever we will say. Hey that was the best thing i ever did

Like a lot of posts I have seen from people in my position I am very nervous and excited. I am also thinking a litte "What the hell did I sign myself up for?!?" Luckily I have some very supportive friends that I have been calling frequently for reassurance. I was glad to see that most of you that had surgery this month are doing very well. That takes a little of the stress off for tomorrow. I am sure it will still be a long night though! But by this time tomorrow I will be on the other side of the hump : )

Wow, I'm on the "other side" of this much anticipated surgery! I think I'm feeling remarkably well considering my plumbing has been rearranged with 6 access points across my belly. Glad to be home so naps aren't interrupted. My mantra now is: sip, walk, deep breath, rest....repeat. Congrats to all who are also on the "other side".
