I am in the same boat, I feel like I am drinking all the time and still not getting enough in. And ugh cannot find something that tastes decent lately which makes it even harder.

Topic: Week 2 stall??? WTF?!

Ok so I've slowed wayyyy down this wee;. I am starting to miss my 1 wk broth diet... I lost 14 lbs the first week and now,since Tuesday I've only lost 1.5 lbs. What in the world? Ok so I admit I expected it to fall off so quick and be this skinny little thing in a day but I knew that was not realistic...

Question: Could it be cuz I am not eating enough? I am having a hard time getting 3 meals and 2 shakes in. Part of it is cuz I have been sleeping so late and taking naps, part of it is cuz I'm just not that hungry. I make sure what I do eat is high in protein and my shakesare at least 25g each (I make sure to at least get 1 down)

Anyone else? Thanks guys

Welcome home Kim and more importantly (at least for the board lol) Welcome to the Loser's bench!

Glad you are doing well. Even if you feel super duper, take it easy. I actually pulled "something" in my upper ab/sternum area (at least that's what my surgeon thinks) 2 days ago...tried to save my 2 yr old son from the car door slamming back on him and jerked quickly and twisted and OUCH! At least I didnt land back in the hospital. Now Ive slowed down again... But at least I saved his little noggin from the car door right???

It seems to be normal, I only say that because it seems so common! I hiccup a lot!!! I did right after surgery and I still do (week and a half out)... Originally they hurt when I first had surgery, but they've gotten better. I still think it has something to do with all the gas they pump you up with... who knows. It is annoying though!

UGHHHH i HATE sipping!!! There is no way I can get all this water in per day!! Id have to have the bottle attached to my mouth at ALL times. and with having to stop 15-30 minutes before eating and 30-45 minutes after eating... how is this possible!!!!!
and how long am i supposed to wait between sips?!
I am usually a gulper so this is definetly a struggle im having.
but other than that im doing alright with foods... yayy!! i hope im not eating too much/ too little tho... lol
do i sound lost lol

Hi I'm 18 days out and I decided that I wanted to eat a hard boiled egg for lunch today... Of course I chewed and chewed really good.. I was able to tolerate it so I guess it's good.

Are you on all clear liquids?? Then yes, it is all going right through you. If your post is correct, you are pre op. loose bowels after surgery could be a lactose intolerance.

I had it for about five days then it went away now everything isback to normal. So yes it will go away just don't trust yourself when you cough or anything. I found myself doing laundry three days in a row.
