I have a gymboss interval timer. It can beep or vibrate for the time you set it. Mine is set for 4 minutes. I attach it to my shirt (it is very small) and it goes off all by itself every 4 minute and then I take 2 swallows (not sips).

I had it set on 3 minutes and my water consumption was 114 ounces.

I bought my gymboss interval timer from amazon.com. I use the same 4 minute vibrate for time between bites.

Topic: Things I wish I knew before surgery

Ugh.... I feel like I wa**** by a semi truck. I had my surgery on 4/20 and I was released on on 4/22. I am completely exhausted and because its uncomfortable to sleep any other way besides a reclined position. Here are a list of things I wish I was told about the surgery instead of finding out the hard way.
1. I have a "dimple" on one side of my stomach.
2. I have diarrhea twice, BUT it is old blood and a few clots
3. Getting out of bed and walking is the most painful thing to do but I understand its the most necessary

If anyone has anything to add please do.

Yes! I can't seem to get warm since my surgery. I was always the one that had to have the air conditioner blasting or I was sweating. Now I am the one complaining that it's cold and carrying a jacket or sweater with me. Mine seems to be worse in the afternoon for some reason. When the sun starts to droop I am grabbing for throw blankets!

I figured out a great way to warm up last evening. I warmed up my low sugar apple juice with some clove and cinnamon in the microwave and sipped it. Hot spiced cider! It was tasty.
Right now I have a turtleneck on and my nose is still chilly, but I"m ok.

I have been hot forever so when it is cold everyone here freezes. In my support group I was told that I would be freezing when my calorie level dipped low. I like you have been freezing too. Sometimes I am hot but clammy cold??

I have had off and on bouts with being cold, but nothing lasting more than a few hours.. But I understand from others at the support group I attend it is very common...

I have been so cold since the weight started coming off. My toes are almost like ice cubes and I slept with socks on last night. The weather has been pretty nice- 60's- but yikes, I need the heater on all day!
