I bought frozen crab cakes from Wally world before surgery and decided to eat them last night. They weren't bad and had low carbs and good protein. Just wanted to share.

I don't have a Wally world around me.  Any name brand frozen crab cakes I can get that aren't too high in fat or calories?

I just have to ask where you live that Walmart hasnt invaded yet? I didnt think a place existed... kind of like Oz... lol

if i HAVE to have frozen crab cakes, i prefer phillips. I prefer to make mine and sub greek yogurt for mayo as binder... started doing that a few weeks before surgery and cant wait to get back to it.

I bought some crab cakes from Walmart but I didn't read the label. The crab cakes were 180 calories and 120 were from fat. I didn't feel good so I didn't mind throwing them out.

I need the fat so I didn't look at that. I'm actually struggling to get it in without eating red meat which doesn't agree with me.

I feel real dumb now.  I had no idea that Wally World was code name for Walmart.  LMAO  Yes, I have Walmart!  I love the idea for subbing the greek yogurt for mayo.  I have a good crab cake recipe and will try at home.  BTW where can I get greek yogurt?  Thanks All!

I use 3 parts greek yogurt to 1 part mayo. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Old Bay seasonings Crab Cake classic for seasoning. Why am I talking about this while still on liquids?! Dear Lord!!!! Why!

I am still laughing about Walmart. I was anxious to find out about the place that they decided not to touch.

You can pick up the greek yogurt in most grocery stores. I prefer Fage brand... but most will do. Trader Joes is a bit less expensive. I think you can even pick it up at Wally World... lol
