Still dizzy
So I have been taking 10-15mg oxycodone at nighttime for sleeping pain free....sometimes adding some Benadryl for the itchiness I get, too. But I was wondering, since dizziness is a side effect from the oxycodone would it go away if I stopped taking it?
I didn't take any last night. I took some liquid (NASTY) Tylenol and a benadryl today at naptime...and now it's 12:45AM and I am STILL freaking dizzy!!! WHAT GIVES???
Am I not "eating" enough? I've been averaging 500-600 calories a day. I get in 60+oz of fluids. I get at least 60gram of protein as well (protein shakes plus scoop of 20g unjury unflavored in my soup).
Please please please make it go away =(
I go for my 2 week post-op tomorrow and will see both my surgeon and my NUT. I'll ask them both what I can do.

I take benadry for really bad soap allergies. Sometimes it can make me feel dizzy the next day. It make me really have a dry mouth too. Hope you get some answers from you doc. That is probably the best place to ask..sounds like its probably one of the meds though..Hope you feel better soon...I have also heard on this board of people having some ear problems after this surgery (on the main board) don't recall why or anything like that...but I know the area that makes you feel dizzy is located in the ear I believe...(may be wrong). Just something I read.sounds like your fluids, protein and calories are good though..about where I am. Good the post op is tomorrow...write down all your questions and take them in with you.. That's what I did...really helped..almost forgot a couple of my questions..
Awww sorry your not feeling well... Oxycodone makes me dizzy too. It sounds like your drinking and getting enough protein..GOOD FOR YOU! I'm sure it is not easy at this stage. I hope you feel better soon!
