Tomorrow 4/15/10 Surgery!!! Stomach prep???

Tomorrow is the big day, They didnt tell me anything except dont eat after midnight, Did anyone hav to do a colon clense or anything???

my surgery is scheduled for 4/28. I was told to have only clear liquids on 27th. And nothing after midnight, not even water. They also suggested i take a laxative 2 days before...

I did clear liquids and Citrate of Magnesium the night before.  But check with your surgeon on this.  Some recomend laxitives and some don't.   Oh, also, I was told to eat a lighter dinner 2 nights before. 

I have been on a clear liquid diet per say for the past week.  I should soo be about squeaky clean.  So needless to say, I have a head start on this not eating food.

thanks ladies, 5 days post op! i didnt do anything special other than the general optifast diet. Surgery went well. Thanks Again.

How are you doing now? =) No complications I assume!

And I didn't need any enemas or system flush beforehand either.
