 Approved on my first letter to insurance.  I start Optifast on Tuesday 03/30...surgery is at Palms of Pasadena in St.Petersburg, Florida.  :-)

woot, woot!!! Congrats! I'm a Florida girl too! Wow and congrats on the insurance. I'm totally jealous!

NIce going... I am on the opifast now and I have lost about 10-15 pds on it in 4 days, and it is funny I am not missing food.  Sometimes the smell gets me but I am strong and I will make it.  I am from Canada Ontario.  I am having my operation on April 15 so I too am in the count down.  What do you think of the taste????

 It's not bad.  I did not get the strawberry flavored though, I got 2 boxes of chocolate and one of vanilla.  Starting on that makes things feel so real.  I've been going through all of this for years!!! I'd start the process and then either I'd talk myself out of it or insurance wouldn't cover it, so I feel sometimes I need to pinch myself.  :-)  

Good luck to both you ladies on this journey too...I'm open if anyone ever needs to talk or vent or anything!!  :-)
