Trudi my date is  April 6th also,yea !!! for us

It's official!  My surgery date is 4/7/09 for RNY.  I am terrified and elated all at the same time.  I've got a 5 day  mostly liquid pre-op diet to look forward to.  I'm totally enjoying last meal syndrome.  I'm in the process of telling friends and family and getting mixed reviews.  Luckily I'm a stay at home mom and have a great support system so going back to "work" isn't an issue.  Not picking up my 16 mo old daughter for 6 weeks is going to be a major challenge.  Trying not to obsess too much about it all.  There's a lot to do this month.  My parents are coming to visit at the end of march which is awesome cause I don't get to see them very often.  They live in FL and are busy, busy small business owners.  Have to get the house and guest room clean and uncluttered.  Want to make home and housework as easy to manage as possible knowing that some things just won't get done for awhile after the surgery.
