I received this from my dietitian on Monday and thought I'd share it with all of you. Some of these I knew - some are new recommendations that they are giving to all their new patients. These are the rules we are to follow once we get to "regular" foods:
1. Eat Solid Foods Only
2. Eat Three Meals per Day
3. Weigh yourself only once per week
4. Your pouch is the size of a golf ball - and that never changes
5. No liquids with meals (stop liquids one hour before and until one hour after meals)
6. No liquids AS your meal (anything you eat with a spoon is a liquid!)
7. Only 3 8 oz glasses of skim milk per day between meals - no other liquids with calories
8. If you have to ask "is this a liquid?" it is a liquid
9. Liquids for 2 days following a fill
10. No snacks between meals

My RNY is scheduled for April 17. I'm so excited to start this journey! I'm debating whether it's too soon to make and freeze food for the Stage 3 portion of our diet? I'm thinking things like chicken salad, tuna salad, soup,etc. I bought some ice trays and was going to use those. Any ideas you may have are greatly appreciated. I'm just thinking about not wanting to cook when I first get home.

There are several others that are scheduled for RNY on the 8th: Tamilynn, Soontobeme, Prinzess, and lalala2.
