Topic: h pylori positive???
Hi Everyone,
just a quick question. my surgeons office called me yesterday and told me that my h.pylori blood test came back positive. they have put me on 2 weeks of high dosage antibiotics.
has anyone else had this test come back positive?

I can relate - I'm tired of the sweets, too. I'm supposed to be on all liquids, but I must admit that last night I cheated and ate 3 ounces of baked fish instead of drinking my Slim Fast. It was heavenly! I still am averaging between 650 and 700 calories per day, but I doubled my protein intake yesterday with the fish!

I'm pretty new on OH, scheduled for surgery 4/20. Seems like the six months went so slow, and within 2 weeks of my last pcp visit I had my approval letter in my mailbox. Spent many hours wondering if I'm going the right direction, but now that is happening, i am so Ready.
For all of us 4/20's, we're going to be a great bunch of losers!!

I bought some stuff called Proto Whey from the Vitamin Shoppe. It's not too bad. Tonight I put in a shot of SF almond roca syrup and it was pretty good. I've tried both the vanilla and chocolate.
20 g of protein (6 g of carb) plus the 10 g protein from my Over the Moon skim milk.
No nutrasweet.

I'm to the point where I'm not hungry. And I'm so sick of sweet stuff.
Why can't they make pork chop flavored broth?
