My surgery is April 16th at 11am.  Have to be at the hospital at 830am and have to start my 2 days liquid diet on the 14th.  I am very excited!  I just had my preop education class Tuesday and learned all about my new lifestyle, so need to go get the few things that the surgeon's office suggested to have for immediately postop as well as fill my prescriptions that they gave me ahead of time.  What is everyone else doing to get ready?

i guess i just need to complain to people who will understand.... I didnt realise just how difficult this liquid diet would be! My HEAD is KILLING me... i have the worst food headache and i cant even take advil cause the doc said only tylenol. Tylenol does nothing for me... I guess it would be easier if i wasnt at work and i could make what ever i wanted... 

Im Hungry! i hope it gets better... even if it dosent ill do it anyway!

I never realised just how many food commercials there were untill now... torture...

I hear ya! i only have to do 7 days and i already feel starved..... I hope i dont feel this hungry after surgery!

I started this process almost a year ago! After submitting to the insurance company the first time, they required me to do a 6 month medically supervised weight loss program...which I did. I had a surgery date in early March. Then I found out the my husbands employer changed insurance companies. Holy Crap. I resubmitted to the new insurance company and have been on an emotional rollercoaster thinking that the surgery was not going to happen. Well, it's happening....I got the good news, and now my new surgery date in April 13th. Woooo Hoooo!
