April 27th......with some concerns

Hello all....I just posted this question/fear on the main board and thought I'd toss it around here as well.  My surgery date is 4/27---yay!!!   I'm majorly excited and majorly scared to death. However, another concern is my social security disability.  I have been on disability for approx. 15 yrs. due to weight and depression having lost my daugter.  Since then I have a bucket load of medical problems but hopefully the majority of them will reverse with weight loss.  The fear of loosing disability at my age (52) with NO recent work history under my belt and having to support myself & Rachael my special needs daughter.  Worried sleepless.  Any comments from anyone in a similar situation??

Cindy You will not just lose your disability it takes time...it will take time for you to regain yourself...physically and mentally and they will wait for you.I believe when you get this surgery and start to regain your mobility you won't think about your age just about how you willlive the rest of your life..
